Make Up Your Mind
“Make Up Your Mind” was inspired by my frustration of being given mixed signals by someone who seemed interested, but never fully committed. The song is a letter of my feeling of waiting but knowing deep down that the situation is going nowhere. It’s about wanting honesty, but also realizing you can’t keep holding onto someone who won’t choose you.
The song came together quickly once I heard a demo from producer Ken Fielder. The acoustic guitar hook and bright, rhythmic mid-tempo beat immediately sparked a melody in my head, and the phrase “make up your mind” came almost instantly. From there, I wrote the lyrics to match that feeling of uncertainty and emotional frustration, keeping the writing direct and honest.
Ken sent over several demos, but this one stood out right away due to the upbeat groove mentioned above. The production gave the song a light, energetic feel that contrasted with the emotional tension in the lyrics. That balance helped make the frustration feel more playful than heavy and sad.
"A bright, emotionally charged pop track that captures the frustration of mixed signals and the courage it takes to walk away from uncertainty."

"What makes this track especially meaningful to me is that it brought out a more playful, girly side of my sound. It was also my first time co-writing with my producer, and I really loved the collaborative process. That experience made the song feel even more personal and exciting to create."
